This policy explains the journal’s approach to open access publishing and its commitment to providing free and unrestricted access to all published articles.

Open Access Model
JURAGAN follows an open access publishing model in which all articles are freely available to readers without subscription or payment barriers. Authors retain copyright of their work, and the journal applies the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike (CC-BY-NC-SA) license, allowing users to share and adapt the content for non-commercial purposes with proper attribution.

Author Responsibility
Authors submitting manuscripts to JURAGAN agree that accepted articles will be published under the CC-BY-NC-SA license. This license allows readers to use, distribute, and adapt the work for non-commercial purposes, provided that proper credit is given and derivative works are distributed under the same license.

Article Processing Charge (APC)
JURAGAN aims to maintain affordable and sustainable open access publishing. There is no submission fee.
A publication fee is charged to support editorial work, journal management, and open access publication. The publication fee is USD 10 or IDR 150,000 per accepted article.
Single-author manuscripts are subject to double publication charges to encourage collaborative research.

Archiving and Indexing
All articles published in JURAGAN are stored in journal archiving systems to ensure long-term accessibility. The journal also makes efforts to have its content indexed in academic databases, repositories, and search engines to increase visibility and impact.

Compliance and Policy Review
JURAGAN periodically reviews its open access policy to comply with international standards and best practices in scholarly publishing. The journal supports the free exchange of knowledge and global academic collaboration.
